The place is nice and clean, it's a wonderful atmosphere. The people are friendly. The food is delicious. I've had the brown stew fish to fish stew chicken the curry chicken, and this is the best place in the 33705 ZIP Code.
Really great food that's a good bang for your buck. I must have gone at the right time because it only took about 10 minutes for my food to come out and it was HOT. They opened each container and showed me the food so I could make sure the order was right before they packed it all up which I thought was cool. Chill vibes and while I took mine to go, there's enough space to sit and eat there if you want.
*** plant based food review*** Ordered the vegetarian dish which comes with your choice of rice and peas, white rice, or yellow rice plus mixed vegetables, potatoes, and plantains. I consider myself to be a woman with a decent appetite and I got 2.5 servings, nearly three from this dish. I thoroughly enjoyed it and it was made to order. I was advised of the wait time before ordering. It took about 20 minutes. I deducted a star because the sweet bread was hard and dry. Further, the pineapple seamoss juice while good was a bit steep in price. Will revisit.
The stew chicken and macoroni pie is sooooo good, every time I get it. I normally order it from DoorDash but I went and picked it up the other day. Not the friendliest service but also not horrible. I only had to wait about 10-15 minutes and my food came out perfect. I would not eat there though.
